Dieses Jahr sind wir zu Fuß losgezogen. Da wir kein Auto zur Verfügung hatten, haben wir uns mit dem Hitchhiken versucht. das Ziel: Korsika
This year, we set off on foot. Since we didn't have a car available, we tried hitchhiking. The destination: Corsica.
Der Plan war ein Roadtrip um Deutschland Herum. Wir wollten Städte wie Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin oder Prag besuchen. Ja gut ähh... drei Tage vor Reisebeginn haben wir den Plan übern Haufen geschmissen und es ging nach Italien... ohne wirklichen Plan, aber umso mehr Freiheit.
The plan was to go on a road trip around Germany. We wanted to visit cities like Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, or Prague. Well, umm... three days before the trip started, we scrapped the plan and headed to Italy... without a real plan, but with a lot of freedom.
Da dieses Jahr der Sharan keine Option war, haben wir mit den Connys einen Deal gemacht. Wir reparieren den Bus, dann können wir ihn für unsere Reisen nutzen. Also haben wir uns in den heißesten 3 Wochen des Jahres dran gemacht den Bus zu fixen. Wirklichen plan von Autos oder schweßen hatte keiner von uns. Wir mussten die Stoßstange austauschen, zahlreiche Rostlöcher flicken, neu Lackieren, und und und... Die Motivation mit einem VW Bus auf den Roadtrip zu gehen hat aber irgendwie gereicht um uns durch diese Wand an Arbeit zu boxen und nach ein paar anläufen beim TÜV hats auch geklappt. Somit konnte unsere erste Tour mit dem FRBus starten.
Since the Sharan wasn't an option this year, we made a deal with the Connys. We would fix the bus, and then we could use it for our travels. So, during the hottest three weeks of the year, we set out to fix the bus. None of us had much knowledge or experience with cars or welding. We had to replace the bumper, patch up numerous rust holes, repaint it, and so on... But the motivation to go on a road trip with a VW bus somehow got us through this mountain of work, and after a few attempts at the inspection, we succeeded. Thus, our first tour with the FRBus could begin.
Inspiriert durch die Travel Videos von GUP, STORROR und Team Farang und mit dem frisch bestandenen Führerschein haben wir uns auf unseren ersten Roadtrip begeben. Das einzige Ziel war Paris, somit haben wir recht bald angefangen an Kreuzungen zu schnicken in welche Richtung wir fahren. Am Ende unserer Reise haben wir Paris, Nantes, Ile de Re, Bordeaux und Barcelona gesehen.
Inspired by the travel videos of GUP, STORROR, and Team Farang, and with our newly obtained driver's licenses, we went on our first road trip. The only destination was Paris, so we quickly began to play rock - paper - scissors to decide which direction to go. By the end of our journey, we had visited Paris, Nantes, Ile de Re, Bordeaux, and Barcelona.
